How do I get my company listed on GymSpotter?
If your business operates in the fitness equipment space, it may already be indexed by our crawlers. Head to /get-listed to search for your company. If you're already there, you can claim your profile in minutes. If not, you can submit your business and we'll create your profile. Both paths are free and take under 5 minutes.
Can I request changes to my company's Trust Score?
Trust Scores are computed entirely by our AI system based on public data and cannot be manually changed at any company's request. This is a foundational part of our editorial independence. What you can do is improve your score organically — by generating more reviews, responding to existing ones, and completing our verification program. We're happy to walk you through exactly what's affecting your current score.
There's inaccurate information on my company profile. How do I fix it?
First, claim your profile at /get-listed — this gives you control over your business information fields. Once claimed, you can update your address, phone, service areas, categories, hours, and descriptions directly. For data pulled from third-party platforms (Google, Yelp, BBB), the most effective fix is to update that data at the source — our system will pick it up in the next crawl cycle, typically within 7–14 days.
How does the GymSpotter Verification process work?
Our verification program has three tiers — Foundational, Professional, and Elite — each requiring progressively more credential documentation. Our Professional plan includes a verification concierge who walks you through the process and handles simultaneous submissions to GymSpotter, the BBB, Google LSA, and Meta. GymSpotter's own verification review takes 72 business hours from a complete package.
I think a competitor has fake reviews. Can I report that?
Yes — we take fake review reports seriously. Our AI already runs continuous anomaly detection across all profiles looking for patterns consistent with review manipulation. If you believe you have specific evidence of fake reviews on a competitor's profile, send it to hello@gymspotter.com with the company name, platform, and your specific observations. We investigate every report, typically within 5–7 business days.

What types of businesses can be listed on GymSpotter Reviews?
GymSpotter Reviews is exclusive to the fitness equipment industry. This includes: equipment movers and logistics companies, service technicians and repair companies, installers and assembly specialists, retailers (new and used), distributors, storage providers, gym flooring specialists, maintenance contract providers, consignment dealers, commercial gym service companies, and any company that primarily serves the fitness equipment market. General moving companies or unrelated businesses are not eligible for listing.
